Email Server Configuration Issues

-FirstRun will always create a TXT log file which is located in WAM Logs.

(Windows Menu > Programs > AJ Tek > WSUS Automated Maintenance > WAM Logs)

You should go investigate the log file and see if there are any errors in there.

Then you should re-visit your email server settings in the WAM Configuration.

(Windows Menu > Programs > AJ Tek > WSUS Automated Maintenance > WAM Configuration)

After you’ve attempted to fix the mail server settings, you can test out if they work by running from the WAM Shell

(Windows Menu > Programs > AJ Tek > WSUS Automated Maintenance > WAM Shell)

.\Clean-WSUS.ps1 -DatabaseMaintenance -MailReport HTML

You should receive an email with the output of the Database Maintenance. If you don’t, re-adjust your Configuration and try again until you get it working.
